Marion S. Brown, DMD FACP

Dr. Brown received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors as the recipient of the prestigious Morton Amsterdam Award. She received her specialty certificate in prosthodontics from New York University College of Dentistry, postgraduate advanced education program for prosthodontics.

After years of clinical practice, Dr. Brown returned to education at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine to complete a four-year postdoctoral fellowship in implant surgery. She is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist since 2001, having been the first woman in the State of New York to have completed and received this distinction. She is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontics, the NGS Academy of Multidisciplinary Dentistry, and the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics. A leader in her field, she has served as president of these organizations and is currently serving as Immediate Past-President of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Brown is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in the Department of Postgraduate Prosthodontics. She has published numerous articles in the dental literature related to dental implants and prosthodontics.

Notably, Dr. Brown was recently elected to serve as a distinguished board examiner for the American Board of Prosthodontics, further emphasizing her commitment to upholding the highest standards of proficiency with the field of prosthodontics.
